I did not have a pattern, just the quilt someone else made on here. I drew up my own pattern making a 12 1/2" block. The squares are cut 4 1/2" and the strips are 2 1/2 x 4 1/2". The rows between the blocks 4 1/2" blocks with 2 1/2. I had the picture so I just followed it. I hope this makes since.
