Did Sue Nickels teach this?

No, my original quilt art from a coloring book. The coloring book provided the outlines, the rest is pure Pam. ( I am a REALLY good tracer.)

Great job, it'd be a beautiful table runner!

Sharon, It's hard to tell from your picture - did you use a zigzag stitch or blanket stitch?

I used a blanket stitch. I have an old Elna sewing machine I bought in 1973 and it has a few stitches and cams thay are put in for decorative stitching.. I didn't think my blanket stitch was going to come out but Sue helped me get it right, otherwise I was going to use zigzag. She was great she went around to everone there. I had a picture I took of the flower pattern called Ashley basket but I wasn't sure if I could post it or not. I bought that pattern but once I was there decided to do the flower I did until I knew what I was getting into. My friend and I are going to take a quilting class that she offers at a LQS in Ann Arbor MI near where she lives. That should be really interesting. I'll try to post a closer view of the flower. Thanks everyone
