Both pics are one mitt - it's double sided. I have the pieces basted for the second mitt, but I got so excited when this one was done that I had to share!

They're fun and easy to make...I smell gift making in these... ;)

I have a question? Do you make them a certain size? Or do you measure your hand then sew i'd love to make one because all the ones i buy are way too big for me to use.

I used one of my old mitts to trace and cut a template. You have to be careful about making the thumb part any smaller, because it is difficult to turn right side out because of the bulky seams, but it would be super easy to make the rest of the mitt smaller.

Wow! Terrific...What did you use for lining? Thermolam? or just warm and natural? I may just have to make one...I am giving an apron and utensils for a shower present and this would be great if I matched the apron....

I used 2 layers of cotton batting, and one layer of Insul-Bright. They would be a great addition to your shower gift! I don't even wear an apron in the kitchen and I want to make one to match these!
