I've been making Raggedy Ann & Andy for years but I have to use a pattern. Great job! Can't wait to see the finished set!

When my son was small - he's 37 now - I made him a Raggedy Andy doll. He had the striped stockings and vinyl shoes.

Great job especially without a pattern. Many years ago I made Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls for my MIL's doll shop with patterns. You are one talented woman.

very cute boy that brings back memories.

Good job Don't forget to put the heart on her chest.

Now don't forget to embroider a heart on her chest with I Love U in the center...that has always been a part of a Raggedy Ann doll and it is in the pattern. Just thought I woud mention it. I made a set for my daughter when she was little and she still has them. They have a couple missing clothes, and the legs have been bite by her dog when she played tagawar, but they are so precious, and I hope she never gets rid of them. Joanie

So very cute, you did a wonderful job !
|
When mine were made for friends and family I would embroider "I love Jesssie". I always put the name of the person I was giving the dolls to inside the heart.
|
I like to make the hand sign for I love you. It is different, but in my family, it is the most important gesture we use. It is sort of our secret code. My grandsons like it better than giving hugs and kisses.

Your doll is so nice. But you have to get those close made she is cold!
