My husband Jim, makes the quilt racks. And he does a nice job too.

Thanks for all the great comments. It sure makes me feel good.

I do not know if Jim can take orders on more racks. He made this one a couple of years ago before his arthritis started to take off.

I had fun making the quilt. It is 66 inches square with 441 pieces. The pattern is Trip Around the World. My sister loves it so much that she has attempted to take it about 4 times! :-o

You two make a great team!! You both do beautiful work.

sandpat 11-26-2008 04:30 PM

I can see why your sister has tried to "borrow it permanently". It is gorgeous! Great use of color. Thanks for unfolding and sharing it with us.

How cool is that that both your talents compliment each other! Both are beautiful. I too love the colors you picked!

I don't blame your sister for trying to take that quilt home with her -- it's beautiful!!!!!

Beautiful quilt!

Your DH is one talented man.

beachlady 11-28-2008 03:28 PM

Love that quilt. Tried to do one once for a baby quilt and went wrong somewhere, so just continued the way I was going. Nice quilt holder too. I need one or two or three of those.

A really "dumb" question: are Trip Around the World quilts always square? or can they be made into rectangles?
