I need an opinion please
 

I'm going to add one more row all the way around with blue blocks in the corner, like you see here in the picture. I really don't want to cut out 32 squares out of the muslin. Will it look ok if I cut strips of muslin 8 1/2" wide x 68" long. The white behind the quilt is my design board, so ignore that.

I would think cutting the strips instead of squares would be just fine.

It is very much ok, sweet center...do your side stripes first and then add your corners to the top/bottom stripes
