Not sure if I would bother with a border. I also love reproduction fabric, their so colorful and cheerful. You could do a scrappy binding if you have any fabric left over. That could be really cute. Love your pinwheels by the way. Just make sure the quilt is big enough to cover your recipient.

It's a beautiful quilt and I know she will love it!!
