I made this quilt after getting the news that my son-in-law was being deployed (again, for the 3rd time). it was just meant to be when i walked into a little quilt shop and saw a panal with the complete pledge of allegence printed on it.

Where did you find that panel ? I just love that and your beautiful quilt. I would love to buy a panel for my husband (Army Retired) and our son (Active Duty Navy).

That went together great! I have two of those panels, want to make up one for my DD's classroom, and one for me too. Just haven't found a pattern I like yet, your's is very nice.

every one is asking where i found that panal, in a little 'off the beaten path' quilt shop, i don't even know the name of the shop, it was 4 or 5 years ago when i found the panal...
Pats8e8 says she has 2, maybe she knows where to find more???
thank you for all your kind compliments 8)

Bevanger 05-19-2009 05:38 AM

fantastic quilt. :D

Pats8e8 05-19-2009 07:34 AM

I bought one panel in a little quilt shop in Lexington, Kentucky, while on vacation 6 yrs. ago. Again, thought it would be good for my DDs classroom. Then after we were a few states away thought what a dummy I was, why didn't I get one for myself? So went on the Internet to Hancock's of Paducah and ordered one from them. Again, it was 6 yrs. ago so don't know if they are still around. Try ebay or just google it?
