I Spy Quilt form Rectangles
3 Attachment(s)
I made this from 2.5 x 5.0 inch rectangles.
I did straight line quilting on it. |
I love it!!! love the backing too. never saw an I spy in this format!!! great.
So much FUN!! LOVE.
I love how you have alternated the light and darks down the rows. Very effective design and many hours of fun for someone.
nicely done... it will be fun
Wonderful--I, too, love the backing.
Great I-Spy! Love the backing as well!

That will keep the little one looking for a long time.
I love love your quilt! It almost jumps up and down because you used dark then light. It is sure to make a child real happy. I really like the straight quilting.
Great job; wonderful fabric choices!
A great I-Spy! Fun backing too!
that's one sweet quilt
Gotta remember this style the next time I do an I Spy. Very nice.
A lot of the pieces were leftovers from fussy cutting larger squares.
I love this quilt! I always look to see if I have/had any of the fabrics! The backing fabric is really cute too!
Thank you for posting your wonderful I-spy quilt. You have many fun fabrics for spending many happy times playing the I spy game. Your ABC backing was the perfect finish to your quilt.
Love the quilt....very fun. Also the backing is just perfect
So cute! Love the backing fabric also.
That's a great I-spy and I also love the backing!
Very nice.
What a great idea!
A nice twist on a traditional pattern.....:)
So many times fussy cutting into a large square wastes so much fabric...this block size prevents this while keeping the design...oh and the backing is perfect..the simple quilting doesn't detract from the "hunt"...Great job..
Nicely done. I prefer quilting straight lines. I have been thinking of doing that technique with a quilt I haven't had a chance to pin baste yet.
I like it, the rectangles are a unique setting for an I Spy quilt.
Super front and back. BrendaK
I have a stash of 2.0 x 5.0, 2.5 x 5.0, and 3.0 x 5.0 inch pieces.
I am now thinking that the ones in that quilt were cut 2 x 5 inches. Sorry about the misinformation. Most of these pieces were also as "fussy-cut" as possible from what I had available. |
What fun is that? Will be a great bedtime I Spy
Great I Spy and perfect back. I'm sure it will be enjoyed.
I love everything about this quilt!
Love, love, love them.
I love it! I have many 31/2 x 6 1/2 pieces cut- this work out perfectly for a Project Linus Quilt.
thank you for sharing the photo. |
