Thanks for all your welcome greetings. I just finished this "I Spy" quilt for my 2-year-old granddaughter. I was getting ready to mail it for her birthday when I got the idea to make one for her dolls. So here are the finished quilts. Several of my quilting friends looked through their stashes to find some of the 56 squares I needed. I found the alphabet fabric on sale at Hancock's and then chose the colors for the sashing. I had so much fun doing this that I cut extra squares for another one should the occasion arise.

Beyond adorable!

Very Cute.

Yep they are cute. I'm in the process of gathering fabrics too and it's not as easy as it would seem is it?
Looks lovely for her and her baby doll. |
Yes, it took some doing but was lots of fun. The trick is to get the different fabrics without having to buy a fat quarter for each one. Good luck with yours.
Very cute!! Love that you did the doll quilt too!
absolutely precious!
Great job and great colors.
Awesome!

So cute!

Those are precious. Your granddaughter will love that her favorite doll has a matching quilt.
They are both precious! And I love the backing fabric you chose. AND, I may steal your matching doll quilt idea!
It looks so soft and cuddly. I made an I spy for a 2 year old last fall. Saw his mom today and she thanked me again--said he was having a great time finding things everyday. It's a quilt sure to please.
