What a fantastic Eye Spy quilt...one of the best ones I’ve seen. Thank you for sharing the pattern information and sewing tips.
I hope you enjoyed your time off premise yesterday...other Washington QB members also shared similar stories and not getting their mail for a few days. We get our share of snow but never get stuck for that many days... |
Wow, great story...love the quilt.

Nice job on an adorable quilt. No envy here on the snow--we've gotten off pretty easy so far this year--but may see some on Weds. Meanwhile, I'm looking for any signs of spring!

Kids will love it!

Snow update: I did escape yesterday and it felt wonderful even if only to go to grocery store. Here is my driveway yesterday from the same view as in original post, neighbor and hubby worked on it all day Thursday and Friday. We usually don't get this much snow was just a fluke that we got 4 waves in several days and it was below freezing the whole time. There are others in Puget Sound area that got even more snow (North Bend), we at least never lost power and have wood stove for extra heat. Our storms are now headed east so everyone stay safe and warm.
Thank you for comments and thoughts on quilt and snow. |
Beautiful I Spy quilt. Your snow is pretty too... but I'm glad I'm not there!

Hey Three dog, we get the same weather you have but one day later. We have had snow and cold to spare. Hubby has gotten very good use out of the snow blower this year, for sure.
Love the I spy setting. I have a few cut blocks I have been wanting to set up too. I have been on pinterest and done some searches to find a setting. I think yours is great! Good job neighbor. |
that's wonderful! Quilt, not the snow.
Living in the Finger Lakes, we get lake effect from Ontario and Erie. We are used to it and have good snow removal equipment. That doesn't make me like it! Rarely do we get earthquakes, tornadoes or hurricanes. Those are faster, but cause a lot more damage. Hope your weather returns to normal soon. Stay safe and warm! |
Thanks goodness you had a project to keep you busy and you didn't lose power. Perfect quilt for a grndson. North
Bend always gets more snow or rain, depending, because of the location to the mountians. We used to live in issy, so I do know the angst of smow and power outages. Traded them for hurricanes and power outages! But I fret instead of doing something productive, so my hat's off to you! |
Cute quilt. Thanks for the tip on the panel.
