This quilt is actually 22 years old. My Grandmother made it for me as a wedding gift. There were actually two quilts this one is mostly polyblends with a pale green flannel back. The other is mostly cottons with pale blue flannel back. I love them both dearly and my GM too. She is 77 and GP is 81. The guitars are my DH's hobby. The electric is for his brother and the acoustic belongs to my GP. DH does minor repairs and replaces parts as needed.

Those guitars would make great "templates" for a quilt for your DH...hint hint.... =)

How wonderful to have the quilts from your GM. I agree with RkayD that the real guitars would make great templates. Gives me ideas for other things, too.
