I honestly don't think one could ever have too many batiks in their stash :) They're just so pretty and they play so well with all the other fabrics..
Every morning I saddle up at my computer with a hot cup of coffee and proceed to drool over the daily batik special in the Keepsake Quilting email/ads. Good thing I'm a lurker in the Fabric Moratorium - I follow just to remind myself of the trouble I'd get into if I bought every fabric (i.e. batik) that caught my fancy... I tell my husband it's all about 'balance' - i should have enough, just not too much and I'll be the judge! |
Ah! You had me at batiks...love them!

Hey, Boston! I could have given you at least 3, maybe 4 of those from my stash! :D
I think I (we) may have a batik problem. Watson I am making another one with four "bricks" in the middle and strips on each side. The blocks are 12 inches. I am enjoying larger pieces. I just finished a wall hanging that is one large block. That was really fun. |
Beautiful fabric. I love batiks, too!

Beautiful colors.

We have been snowed in for 2 weeks...seems like forever. Next week my friend and I are going to our favorite quilt shop. I know that sounds dangerous but we can’t wait! We signed up to make the Pam Buda 1800 quilt and had to miss the first class. I get excited just thinking about going!

I like your choices. I look forward to seeing how you transform these fabrics into a quilt.;)

They are the perfect choice. I love batiks!

I've pretty much decided that buying fabric and sewing are really two different hobbies.

Lovely! It’s hard to visit there and not pick up something....or a lot. That’s what happened to me.
