OT: What is the origin or meaning of your name?[/quote]

Its a bit roundabout but my avatar is one of my dollhouses and it is named Caer Urfa and Caer Urfa is the old old name for South Shields in UK, my husband's birthplace.

I'd be happy to share but I don't think I could do that as my crazy patch just sort of evolves as I go along working with whatever I have. Fortunately I have got to the stage where people sometimes give me scraps of lace and fabric now. A 92 year old friend gave me some laces owned by her mother and I treasure those. Naturally I made her a lovely cushion using some of the lace.

It is beautiful, what a wonderful gift! I guess I'll have to be the one to go ahead and say what everyone else has to be thinking:

Foget about making one for yourself, make one for me!!!
