Ask them if they'll make one for you in your colors

I bought a pattern for one similar to that. Here is a link to the online store that I bought it from:

It has bigger panels but you could probably adjust them to the size you want. I had forgotten about having the pattern til I saw your post.

nice skirt!!

tuesy 12-12-2009 09:35 AM

I bought the same pattern as SherriB did.. haven't made it yet, but it's on my "to do" list.

You could make your own pattern. On a large newspaper, draw 1/4 of a circle in one corner. Divide into 4 equal pieces, add 3/4 inch seam allowances to one piece, cut it out on double layers of fabric 16 times, sew together and clip the seam allowances. Pattern would be very forgiving since is is a tree skirt, and a few ripples wouldn't show.

Here is one similar and you could just rag it.

I made one for my son's family last year in different colors with embroidery and it is a nice and easy pattern.

I agree. I have made numerous tree skirts and made my own pattern. It is easy. Of course, I love math, so it was easy for me anyhow. I could make one for you but I'm booked solid until March for projects for others.
