Those are awesome.... I too love getting packages from ebay... although my hubby doesn't like it when I get one everyday  so then I try and hide them before he gets home

I'm glad to see you all are E-Bay fabric buyers too. I have gotten some great deals and lovely fabric. The best part is I can shop in my pj's.

Happy bidding

Quilting Aggi 04-16-2008 05:08 AM

Brenda.. shopping in your pjs is definetely the BEST way to shop!! Think about it!! no traffic to get through, no hunting down for a parking spot, no line ups at the cash register, shop with a coffee in your hand and not worry about spilling the coffee over the fabrics LOL!!! Your purchases come right to your door.. nothing like home delivery.. so no worries of having to hang on to a pile of shopping bags while going around to other stores!! Stores are open 24/7!!! I'm sure there are many many more reasons to shop online!!!! Anyone else have other advantages to online shopping???

yes I too am an eBay junkie!!!!

I have never purchased anything from E-bay. Matter of fact I have only looked at it once or twice to check it out. How do you pay for your things?
Do you have to use a credit card? I have a BIG problem with that part even though everyone says it's perfectly safe.

amma 04-16-2008 07:34 PM

I pay for all my ebay items through PayPal. You set up an account with them and pay through them, the ebay sellers receive their payment from PayPal. I did not like the idea of the sellers getting my credit card info and this has worked well for me, I have been using PayPal for about 5 years now with no problems at all :D

Brenda Retzlaff 04-17-2008 03:00 AM

We use Pay Pal too. No muss, no fuss. It's a very good thing.

I always use PayPal!!! It is a fantastic company to make your payments through.. they are the middle man between the seller and buyer and very very secure.

I loooovvveee ebay! I'm such an ebay junkie and adore getting packages in the mail. Just about every time we need something, I check ebay first. I always use Paypal and ALWAYS use my credit card... (you never know)...Have been doing this for over 10 yrs. never had a problem at all. Just be sure you examine your credit card bill carefully every month...but you always do that anyway, right??

The only problem is that shipping is getting soooo high that you have to be careful. The other side of that is that we live waaaay out in the country, so to drive to get anything costs alot too.

Quilting Aggi 04-17-2008 06:01 AM

Sandpat I'm a HUGE eBay junkie too!!! geez how did we manage before eBay???

Lois-nounoe 04-17-2008 05:35 PM

How do you set up a Pay Pal account? I have heard of that but, like I said, never ordered anything from the internet. Do you send in the money before or after you bid on something and is there a set amount that you have to start with?? Sorry about the questions but it takes me a bit to get some concepts.
