I haven't given up on these. I tried echo quilting around them and it didn't look good, so now I'm trying to figure out a way to quilt them with my embroidery, sewing machine. I think a rose design just in the black areas would look nice, but I bought a new machine a while ago and haven't used the embroidery function yet.
To get free financing I went for an out of state offer (sewingmachinesplus.com), so of course I have to pay for lessons if I want help learning to use it locally. I already basted batting and backing to the fronts, and I'm considering QAYG with the finished blocks but I don't know if I have enough space at the edges. So basically, I've just procrastinated doing anything! |
Such a creative idea!! Love them!!

I finally quilted it! I just embroidered each corner and made a wall hanging. It's in the washer now and if it comes out I'll share a picture. It only took almost two years, two sewing machines since then. lol!

I can't wait to see how it looks.

Lovely and creative. I like that they don't have faces, it leaves a bit of mystery and let's you imagine your own.

You have done a great job with the faces and like the others have said I think you have a great artistic sense and creativity.

That's really creative, it reminds me of bridesmaids in a wedding. Good job!
