Just whipped up this block. The center is made with the tube quilting technique which was my first try at it. :| What do you think? Thinking of making up some and throwing on Ebay. I will need a name for them. Any ideas?

Nice!
Maybe...."To the Point"? |
lovely
|
very pretty

Ok, so don't laugh at me but my first thought was that for some reason it reminds me of choclate ice cream. It's very pretty. The color looks like melted chocolate ice cream! :0) And I love choclate and ice cream! Hmmm... going to the grocery store later.... ;0)

Since it's an hourglass square in a box, how about "Time in a Box"? :D

When I first looked at it, I thought of bow ties -- how about "Daddy's Bow Ties"??

Well I kinda changed my fabrics but this is what I finally came up with.

The first thing I saw was a man wearing a tuxedo :-D

My first thought was "professor's tie"

Pretty blocks. Don't have a suggestion though.

Country Spice? Pioneer Pie? These are very pretty and you said you used the tube method.. did you do only two colors? or three and cut the third down to a rectangle? These colors remind me of a county fair, cinnamon pumpkin berry pie.. can see the women with their baskets, aprons and bonnets selling pies when I look at your pieces. Ok maybe I am hungry its 330 am and the cat says your not going back to sleep kiddo. Better go peel an orange before the sugar monster says.. eat me.. eat me..

I really like the final colors you chose! Great job and there are a lot of great names mentioned on this thread!

My first impression had been Grandpa's Bowtie....
