Oh Carol in 30 years I've made alot of differant things. From a King size quilt to twin size quilts (long long ago!) to lap quilts 18" tote bags and diaper bags and lots of stuff. I used to teach crossstitch years ago at home parties. I have done lots of embroidery cross stitch crewel applique trapunto whatever the one is where you use nothing but french knots to make the design. I was really into doing that for awhile at one time. My brain just can't pull up the name of that stitchery at the moment! LOL If it is needle work I've tried it at one time or another. I did what you would call Turkey Tracks we called it Chicken Scratch. My daughter did rug hooking and I tried it but didn't really like it much. I really loved quilting and am totally self taught from books and tv shows and trial and error.

You can see some of my quilts in my picture threads.

Everything I look at of yours is great - and I LOVE the heart quilt! I've been collecting different heart patterns to make a 'love' quilt.
You are awesome!

Actually the first thing I ever made was a postage stamp crib quilt for my son who was 4 at the time. I took it with us when we went to visit my inlaws. We ended up in a blizzard and while taking refuge in a kind strangers home I almost dropped him in the strong winds. It was keep ahold of the child or the quilt. I had to let go of the quilt to keep ahold of Nathan. The wind whipped it gone in an instant in the blizzard conditions. I hated losing it.

I then went on to making purses with applique mostly.
