I'm on a mini kick.....
4 Attachment(s)
The first mini is the Value Block made of leftover hst's from my King's Cross quilt. It's also known as the Depression Block popular in the 1930's. I haven't joined the sections yet as I will probably keep going with it until it's baby quilt size.
The next mini I call Double Time is made from more of the leftovers from King's Cross. When 4 blocks come together, it automatically forms the 5th pinwheel in the center! (much to my amazement!) I wasn't sure what it would look like when joining the blocks, but I like it! It also looks like an open-faced Friendship Star block. The 3rd mini is a braid that I've been wanting to do for quite some time. It actually turned out much larger than what I wanted so I'll donate this one. The 4th mini is a Whirligig that I dressed up with colorful buttons. I love the color yellow and it seems I'm always using other colors more often so it was time for a yellow mini!! Hope you enjoy my minis like I do~!! |

They are so cute. I used to make them when I first started. When my grandkids were little they used to pretend they were magic carpets and sit on them and make up stories about flying around on little magic carpets. I still have the quilts. Your quilts brought back some sweet memories.
