I like to buy panels and cut out the pictures or find fabric in the remnant bins with big pictures and cut the pictures out and create around them. Kind of the lazy woman's quilter method. These were all UFO's I did during the summer.

I threw in a picture of the boxer shorts I made for my son. Since he was sweet enough to buy me a Singer Rocketeer sewing machine for my birthday, I felt the least I could do was make him something on it.

Very pretty

Very cute. I use panels and large prints too to save time. No quilt police here.

You did a great job with your panels.

Great job!

I enjoyed your quilts and laughed when I saw the boxers. I think I'll make boxers for Christmas presents this year. I think that my immediate family (all adults) would laugh and appreciate the present. I know they'll love wearing them. Now, I just have to get their waist sizes.

Thanks for sharing!

They're all beautiful, but I especially love the first one. And I don't see why he wouldn't wear the boxers.

All are very nice, but the Boxers expecially. I have 3 boys, and when they decided they were going to wear boxers instead of briefs, I used to buy the loudest fabric I could for them & the boys wore them, although they drew the line at lace or ruffles across the back...darn it!

Happy Quilting, susan

Very nice. I've been making boxers for my 9 yr old grandson for years. He loves them because he can have all kinds of great fabrics. I thought for sure this year he wouldn't want them anymore, but noooooooo. So we looked through catalogs and online and ordered prints he likes as well as holiday. I'm sure your son will love his also and you just may have yourself a new "job".

My son is 29 years old and lives in Austin. I think this is going to be a surprise! Maybe I should start making them for my soon to be 11 year old great-nephew!

Wonderful quilts. I really like them all! I have done quite a bit with jungle theme. My DGS loves elephants.
