I love making these! They are perfect for carrying sewing machine to class! The Panama Mola was a gift from my brother. The Blue Jeans from my friend Jane. The lining is the pix with orange pocket and flowers. Could be reversible!

very cute!!!

How clever! Reruns are great.
|
What a great idea! I went to the store to get new jeans and they were selling "new" jeans with holes here and there and frayed cuffs. So I came home and put my old ones on again. But now I know what I can do with them!

This not just a bag, it is a work of art. Love, love, love it. Thanks for sharing. Mary

I have a couple of the Panamanian panels and wasn't sure what to do with them. Love your idea! Do you mind if I copy yours?

Absolutely awesome, love those jeans and what a great way to recycle.
|
I never knew that panel was called a mola. My Dr.'s wife was a fiber artist and she made a few of those that he hung in his exam rooms. I always thought they were based on aboriginal art from Australia. That is a super cool bag.
|
Great tote!
