 :-) WOW!!! Awesome quilt & I can see why it took so long to complete it! Well worth the effort!
|
I followed Karen's instructions and picked two colorways as she suggested. Black, brown and grey in both light and dark and red, organge and yellow ....I used as many different fabrics as I could find in my stash.
|
Gorgeous. It looks labor intensive but well worth the effort.

Thank you so much ladies for all your lovely complitments. I am very proud of this quilt. Here's my story. I have been a professional seamstress all my life, there is nothing that I canot sew (well so I think) I love challenges, the harder the better. Well, a friend told me about quilting about 10 years ago and I went with her to a class and was so impressed with the way quilting had changed. I could never deal with little scaps of fabric lol...I learned how to use the rulers etc. I was hooked. I made seventeen quilts within two years. I have some listed on my blogs. I am now looking at the "Colorful Quilt" by
Jacqueline de Jonge. |

It is stunning and a work of art. Please enter it in any show you can . It will win something. I am more of an observer then a doer. It is a struggle for me but I keep trying even though I ususally say "I Quit" on every project. So let all your effort show.

It my short for Indian Orange Peel lol. It really wasn't hard to do. It just paper piecing and if you got a handle on that, you can do it. It's just a lot of work is all... |
Wow, there is a lot of work there, but it's beautiful.
