That is a beauty of a quilt. I do both machine and hand quilting, depending on my mood and my energy level, I guess. I do love looking at the hand quilting I've done when I have a quilt out and so enjoy the textural look of it. Don't mind too much how long it takes - it keeps me awake while I watch the telly with my DH.
