Don't like clear thread so not sure what color to quilt this tabletopper

the blue strip is the backing and binding.

How about a gold metalic?

How about checking for a nice varigated. I have a spool that has many of those colors -- and I would use it both on the front and back.

Very pretty! Did you design it or is there a pattern out there someplace? I have the tool to make those folded back sections, never used it.

I'd probably use black thread.

When in doubt .. go with a varigated!

I just got that ruler and hope to make something with it soon. Yours is lovely. Varigated thread might do well.

I am thinking white thread for quilting might work. Kind of bold, it will show up, but you could some great designs
