with fewer than three weeks to go before Christmas, a friend asked me to make quilts for her grandsons.
she has ten grandsons! I had seen this EB video on YouTube. (i sure hope it wasn't pirated.) It's a great top when you need something fast. I modified it a little bit to speed things up, but EB deserves all the design credit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czu00EuqQmo I cranked out 6 quilts using this pattern - all roughly 60" square. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take photos before handing them over. These are the only ones my friend has managed to get from the parents. I made two like this, using solid yellow in one, and solid lime green in the other. Two were made using different cowboy themed fabrics. This is one of those. I made two more from fabrics with feathers printed on them, but so far no photos. I would never have gotten them done in time if my friend, Debbie, hadn't worn herself to a frazzle quilting them for me on her long-arm. |
Those are so cute. I may look into that pattern for my donation quilts. :)

These are really nice quilts! Great pattern that changes with the type of fabrics used. Very versatile

you did a great job, especially with the pressure you were under. goes to show that quilts don't have to be complicated to be attractive and loved.
