I found this pattern and the frame at my LQS in Crystal River, Florida. The first pic is the purse put together. The second is the next bag. You simply unscrew the little knobs and slip the next purse onto the frame. I'm planning to make a variety of purses. It's very easy to do and makes a nice sized purse. I would improve the pattern slightly by putting pockets in the lining next time.

Love it ! Could u please tell us the name of the pattern. Did the frame come with the pattern? Thank you, michele

It is called Steel Ball Frame Purse. The frame was $20, I think. I thought it was worth it since you can exchange purses so easily. The pattern was 7 or 9...can't remember.
Here is a website [email protected]
I'm assuming you can check that site out and order from them. Or your local shop may carry this...better for the economy to do it locally.

hat size is the purse and frame? I looked at the site and they have several size frames.....Thank you, Michele

The width is 8" and the height, a little over 7". I think it was the bigger frame that they had. I've purchased SO many things in the last month, I can't remember a lot of details. I hit 15 shops while we were visiting our sons in TX, then came home and hit some local shops. I'm shopped out for awhile.

I just got a similar pattern. The shop owner told me the story of a lady who had her purse stolen. She had put her passport and money in between the inner bag and the outer bag. The purse was recovered. Her billfold with charge cards were gone and the insides had been dumped. But they had not discovered her passport and money between the two parts of the interchangable bag. So you have your own secret hiding place.

Your fabrics are so fun. You should have a great time using it.
