On certain things it could work. Would have been good when I did my tropical fish!

Looks like it could work quite nicely in a "parrot-head"
quilt. |
OK, I agree, this would be either a very specific theme or scrappy quilt and now that I've read all the posts, I noticed no one mentioned using it in an african themed quilt. I can see the bright orangey batik used as a background with black animal silhouettes or huts seen along the Rift Valley or in Lesotho or where I lived in Swaziland, or with every other color and pattern you find in your stash: scrappy. It might also look good in the "think inside the box" posted earlier because it would be bright and pieces would be small.

It reminds me of pineapple chunks, and I am not a fan of pineapple. Sends shivers down my spine, both pineapple AND the fabric.
|
It is truely ugly in my opinion and I am a batik lover.

Not my bag.

It's a BATIK...what's not to like! I'd buy a yard just to look at it.
|
Very bright, vibrant and exciting. Not sure I'd use a large piece of it, but smaller pieces sure would spice up a project. Probably would buy less than a yard of it.

I do not like the first one love the ones under it
|
I love it.
