I've been telling everyone in chat I was going to make this quilt. It's called Interlock. I'm sure it has another name, but I don't know what it is. It's from an old Georgia Bonesteel book called Bright Ideas for Lap Quilting.
I made one of these quilts years ago, now I remember why I didn't make it bigger, all the bias cuts! The blocks finish at 28 inches. This will be a California king quilt when I finish. It's for some friends who are Florida Gator fans. Only 11 more blocks to go. |
NICEEEEEEEE and gator growl is coming up soon!
|
Keep us posted on your progress. Love the pattern.

This looks like a great pattern for a scrappy quilt. Really good job of matching seams, etc.

cool, thanks for sharing with us
|
Beautiful.
|
Thanks for sharing, I tried to google the pattern after talking to you in chat but I couldn't find it.
I love the pattern, can't wait to see it finished. |
You know this looks like you could take your printed fabric block and weave and lay the bias on top and sew it down on it instead of piecing. It would be less cutting for sure but perhaps less work in the long run.
|
Interesting pattern! Please show pics when you are finished! :)
