Here's the Irish Chain quilt I just took off the frame. I just completed Kimmy Brunner's template class on Craftsy & this is what I did. It'll be a Christmas present for my brother.

The block close up popped up for a few second and I saw that star. I just completed the class too. Your stars look wonderful. I hope you put it on craftsy too. Kim would be so thrilled. I love Irish chain. The black and red is stunning

Sure did post on the Craftsy class projects! Can't wait to see Kimmy's reply. This isn't the pattern I originally was going for, but the one I ended up with. I had drawn out a pattern according to her Twirly Whirly Feathers, but Queenie decided she wanted eyelashes & I frogged for 4 1/2 hours getting it out! Switched to this one instead. Templates aren't hard if you learn from Kimmy!
