I love what he did - I bet I could get my hubby to do something like this for me. It would be so nice to have something wider than a regular ironing board - when I am too lazy to pull out my ironing board, I just use the one I bought from JoAnn's and put it on tip of my washing machine. It works for the little stuff, but not so well for the bigger stuff.

Yes, men have the nicest tools and stuff. Have you seen the tool box that has a REFRIGERATOR in it??? So they can keep beer next to the power saws -- much more reasonable to put wine next to the roses.

That's great! I made my own board from a door 72" long with batting and the silver ironing cover as well and sits on my bins! Perfect height and length. And it's portable too. I can put it on the ottoman and sit on the couch and iron :)

I wish I would have thought of that! Storage and an ironing station!!! I'll have to remember that for when my ironing board craps out on my. I just received it for Christmas with an 2 foot by 50 inch custom made extension to fit on the ironing board.

Now I will have to put a tool box on my list of want. Although, the tool box will need to be 35-37 inches tall.
