Ironing trick sewing stripes together
 

There are about 30+ stripes in a Jelly Roll and to make the sewing together a little bit easier I iron one end of every stripe diagonally: this line is the line to sew on when I put two stripes together! Sorry for my English, I do my best to write exactly what to do.... I post some pictures where you can see what I mean....
And ironed lines are also perfekt for writing on lables: you have a line to write on!

I have been quilting for over 40 years and this is a new technique. So easy! No more twisting, turning, or drawing those lines!!!

Your English is very good. Just take the "e" off of "stripes" to make it "strips" and it's perfect!

Oh, goodness. You are brilliant!. The idea of ironing lines on a quilt label is so simple a technique but we, or at least I, have not thought of it before. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us.
