I'm simply heartbroken, Sandpat. Don't you recall our conversation recently when you told me, "I love you enough, Ducky, that I will give you my center"? I remember it clearly. I even put on those invisible ink glasses (that make me look so geeky) and I see where you initialed that statement.

Okay. DH saw me working on the border for Buddy'smom's center tonight and asked me, how I plan on getting my 150 other quilting projects all done. :roll: Sheesh! Silly man. I only have four things I'm working on at this time. I have to say that I'm having fun with this border and it's looking really good, too.

I can't wait to see what you are doing with it Ducky...It sounds wonderful and when its FUN too!!! Woo HOOO!

Buddy'smom, I needed to get your okay before I continued on. As you can see, I'm doing a trellis border, with fabrics that will pull from the white and pale green -- and, of course, the outer edge will be cut and squared. I will also applique a few felt flowers like the ones you have in the center, and will try to incorporate a light shade of purple to match the second border. So before I cut the next 12 billion little pieces, I wanted to make sure this looks okay with you (and the others looking at this). If you need to talk to me, just pm me. This is a fun border to do, but I want to make sure you like it before I keep going.
