Items for Baby

The following photos are things I've been making for my husband's niece...she is due in May.
I started with a personalized flannel baby quilt...and the list goes on!

The "Choo-Choo" quilt is for my niece's step-son. In my opinion no older child should be ignored during the process of welcoming a new addition. The train fabric came in one of those 'pay for the yardage and take what you get' - I never cared for the color combinations, but for a little boy I think they will work and not show drips and drabs!

The car seat cover (black with stained glass crosses) is also the ultimate "keep your germs to yourself" cover!

The last three photos are of a "All-in-One Changing Pad"--folded, partially folded, totally unfolded.

When did receiving blankets get so big?

I still have to finish one quilt, a baby sling and personalize some onesy, then I think I am done for now!

Great baby projects! The older boy will love his blanket. Really nice job on the folding diaper pad.

Great ideas. Do you have a pattern or numerous patterns? I have a granddaughter coming in April. You just gave me some ideas.

All the patterns are freebies I found on the internet. Seems like if a person knows the question...that Google has many sources with answers!
Here is a photo of the completed quilt.
Also - embellished onesy...my husband gifted me with a Cricut this year. Thought I might need a new hobby!
And...the baby sling that has cowboy flannel on one side and khaki fabric on the other. Looks kind of weird just hanging there. So easy to make and everyone seems to like and use them.

Nice work, you should be proud!

Thanks! I hope she, at least, finds them useful.

those are such wonderful baby items(and toddler quilt, he will be happy not being left out, that was very sweet of you). My friends that are having babies right now are just loving the covers for the carriers. Everything you made is going to be very useful, cute, and unique. I just bought a pattern for a baby swaddler. I made two so far and have two people I know that just had babies in the last week. So they get to be my testers to see if they like them. Bibs and burp cloths...well, you can never have to many of those.

I have looked on line and cannot find this pattern. Would you be willing to give me the name of the site where you found this pattern? Thanks. I appreciate your time. You did an amazing job and I love your choices.

What a brilliant collection...everything looks fantastic and is going to be so useful. The little boy's quilt is just perfect, I think it's a great idea to include him in the whole baby thing, he won't feel at all left out. You are definitely going to make the "Most Favourite Auntie" list with this little lot:). Thanks for sharing...I'm sure others will find this inspiring too.

This baby is going to be introduced to the world with much love by the looks of how busy you have been. Great job. New babies need so much I'm sure mom will be grateful for it all.
