WOW what great projects. I bet the kids are going to love them. I really like the lace on. How was that done. Would like to see a close up of that. I also think the baby quilt would be cute for Downy Kids. I may also attempt to do that, After I get a few other projects out of the way. I am going to readopt my old new years resolution "finish two projects before I start a new one". I did that a few years back and have lost track of that so I need GET BACK ON TRACK again.
Anyway, great work. It must feel nice to have that much time in ones sewing room to accomplish all that!!!! |
your caterpillar is funny, made me :D :D

Thank you all for your wonderful comments. The truth of it is that DH was down with tummy issues, so he stayed downstairs and I was upstairs all by myself all day Saturday and Sunday. Bad that he was feeling off, but wonderful for me. No cleaning, cooking or anything else.
The lace was made on my Janome 350E and other than a few thread breaks to attend to, it just hummed along while I was working on other things. It's a free standing lace design that is done 5 separate times, then sewn together with the center fabric. I'll try and get a clos-up of it tonight when I get home. Again, thanks all!! |
Love the baby quilt - so colorful and bright. You cartainly had a busy weekend.

Fantastic job. You are a phenomenal quilting lady. You must have been home alone or you ran away?????
