It's a long time since I've made one of these : Baby Quilt
2 Attachment(s)
When my boys were in High School we hosted a German exchange student for a year. He was a wonderful lad and has grown into a beautiful man. We've visited his parents and had him back, always for too short a visit. He is expecting his first child with a girl we haven't met, but I'm sure she is a lovely as he.
The pattern was for a two coloured quilt but I've been looking to use these 3 lovely coordinated fabrics from Connecting Threads. The second photo shows the colours best as its not competing with the carpet. MaryKatherine |

That is just lovely - they will be thrilled to have such a lovely quilt for their new baby. How nice that he is still part of your family. I was an exchange student to Australia nearly 40 years ago, and we still email, phone and visit each other...we're part of each others family now. It's nice to hear that others do that, too!
