Jackpot!

We went to an estate sale last weekend and found nothing to do with sewing or quilting...other than this navy blue case that was leaning against a book shelf in a somewhat dark living room. After getting it home, going through the case and researching its contents online I see I got quite a bargain! The total cost online to buy all this stuff, and much of what was included was still in the original wrappers unopened, unused, was about $360.00. The original price on the case at the estate sale was $125.00. It was then marked down to $60.00. When we got there, the company running the sale said anything that was marked less than $100 was half off the last marked price. So, my final cost was only $30.00 for all this wonderful stuff!
Funny thing...I'd shopped the day before for a 6" x 12" ruler and couldn't find it in the two stores I looked in, and there it was in the case at the estate sale! :D
