Jacks chain in blue and yellow

I made this quilt from the jacks chain pattern, an impression of sunshine on water and of mosaic and Istanbul.
I made the hexi centers as stack and whack blocks. The quilting doesn't show well here, it is wavy lines coming out from the yellow with some custom quilting in the center region. I faced it rather than binding it to keep the scalloped edges. |
