I am always curious when I see these amazing quilts and hear about the construction time frame. Is this type of quilt the 'Holy Grail' of quilting? Something you tackle when you have crossed everything else off your bucket list? I can't imagine ever getting to the point where I would have the time, patience or skill to create something this impressive! Are all your quilts handwork or is this effort a homage to the original?

What an accomplishment! And such a beauty, too. I'm glad you posted it here because most on this site will know how much work and determination went into the completion. I always like the people that look and say, "nice." And, you're thinking "nice???" I have been living, eating, and sleeping this quilt forever. Yours is much better than just nice. Love it.
