I started this thread when I finished the top http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-42832-1.htm

Now, I'm done with the quilt and am almost finished sewing on the binding. The quilt is a bit rumpled because I've had it in a ball while sewing on the binding. But, I promised to post final photos of the quilting. It took forever as I did very tight FMQ on the block background and stippling. I did a lily pad type leaf throughout the border. I put a sleeve on the back to use it as a wall hanging if I choose to.

I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

The quilt alone is beautiful, but your FMQ is fabulous. It is perfect for that quilt.

Thanks everyone. The faces are appliqued..and they're not supposed to be. LOL. This pattern was VERY hard with all the curves. I could manage all the curves but the faces. So, I said screw it and machine appliqued them. :> Sometimes you gotta do, what you gotta do.

Thanks everyone. For a WIP that has lingered for way too long, it may actually make it up on my wall and be a keeper. Rather than a gift that 90% of my quilts tend to be...

I posted this info. on the other thread but here you go...If you're interested in the pattern, google Amy Myoraku and see what comes up. Maybe there's one for sale on ebay? I wish I could recommend this pattern, but I really can't. Quilter beware, it's a hard pattern to piece with all those curves.

I found one for sale here. http://www.shiboridragon.com/Quilt-Patterns1.htm

You did good! Did you use any special thread for the leaves? It looks almost embroidered. Pretty!!!!!
