Jarod’s HS graduation quilt
 

This is another extremely tardy quilt. Jarod graduated in 2017! But I wanted it to be something he would really like, and he kept stalling when I asked for help picking something out. Finally I sat him down and we went through my Pinterest board. When he saw my QOV folder his eyes lit up. “I love anything Americana!” Now we were getting somewhere! He then said he likes stars and he kept pointing to high contrast quilts. We settled on this one. It measures 90 by 82, so it should fit a queen size bed. The star fabrics were scraps and FQ we had in the sewing room, and the blue and red squares in the Irish Chain are from Connecting Threads. The binding is also CT. The wide back came from Hobby Lobby.
