It's so nice to see so many really pretty jelly roll quilts. I can't pick a favorite, they're all so individual.

Used a scrap bag from Moda to make this. Got lovely mix in the bag, and chose cream as the background. I loved the back fabric which seems to have all the colours of the front in it. Wedding gift for young friend.
Your quilt is lovely and it's from a Moda Scrap Bag to boot! Love the colors I'm sure the recipients will love it! |
Just in time to keep santa warm for the holidays. Very cute!

Here is mine with additional fabric for triangles and applique. This pic was taken before binding was done.
What a GREAT seasonal quilt! Is this your own design and what color binding will you be using? |

This is Fields of Flowers pattern by Sandy Gervais. I used one jelly roll (Arnold attic collection) I used extra material for the setting and corner triangles and backing.

I recently participated in a jelly roll race within a Project Linus group. We had 36 yards of 2-1/2 strips all sewn together and then raced to see who got their quilt finished first. I love how (on page 4) the quilter from Alaska put a huge appliqued flower on hers. If you do not mind, I will borrow that idea in the future for my charity quilts--maybe a huge tractor, doll or kitten. Very nice, AKgranny!

Here is a table top I am working on with jelly rolls. It is called castle stairs and the pattern is at Moda Bake Shop.
