Jelly Roll Race Bargello

1 Attachment(s)
My sister purchased two Batik jelly rolls and the border fabric. I pieced all the strips into one very very long strip with squares of the border between each strip. Then I bargelloed it. This is my one original pattern, never to be repeated, because I did not make any notes.

It is beautiful; I love batiks and also bargellos. You did a wonderful job on it. Make another and take notes. Lol. I like the way it came together. Thanks for sharing.

Love your quilt. That is so cool how you made a Bargello from a jelly roll. Wish you would have taken notes cuz it would be nice to try one. Good for you to be so talented,

Very interesting! It made a gorgeous quilt. I like to use Jelly Rolls to make Bargello quilts, but I have never done them the way you did. Nice work!

That's a cool idea to add the squares to your bargello. It gives it some extra pizzazz! Aw, I bet you could figure it out and make another one. Quilters are all smart! (I love bargellos!)

Mariposa 10-27-2015 03:09 PM

Neat bargello! Hope you do another, and take notes! :)

jmoore 10-28-2015 03:48 AM

It turned out beautiful... I have not yet done a Bargello but from the looks of it, I'm not sure I would have the patience to do more than one... kudos to you.

Beautiful and such a creative way to use jelly roll strips. You really need to figure it out again and share it with us.

EmiliasNana 10-28-2015 05:13 AM

What an interesting concept................who would have thunk? LOL

kay carlson 10-28-2015 06:12 AM

Your quilt is stunning in design and pleasing to the eye. Thank you for sharing this with us. :)

The comment of adding squares of the border fabric is very helpful. Since one of my joys is working with graph paper, this would make the ideal design project.

Now that's amazing. Great idea with the blocks separating the strips. You can make one for me anytime you want. I have way too many jelly rolls. LOL
