Thank you for letting us follow you on this quilt :D:D:D

seamstress 04-02-2011 08:42 AM

It is nice to follow. Those are nice fabrics.

purplemem 04-02-2011 08:59 AM

I am really grateful you are doing this. I've been putting off making one for my nephew-I have the fabrics and pattern-just intimidated by the process.

I am watching and cheering you on!

Painiacs 04-02-2011 09:34 AM

Can't wait to see how it's done! Want to do one but looks hard!

SulaBug 04-02-2011 09:44 AM

How neat!! I can hardly wait to see more of your progress. Good Luck & be sure to share more as you make progress!!

I like watching the process (and progress!)

seamstress 04-02-2011 01:46 PM

What size squares and strips did you use?

janell2009 04-02-2011 01:57 PM

Sew 35 blocks (7 rows with 5 blocks each as shown on page 1) to make a quilt that finishes at about 60" x 84".

* (2) 4-1/2" x 12-1/2" bars
* (1) 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" square

this is the pattern I am using

Wow I never knew or understood how to do one of these before, but now thanks to this thread it just clicked in my head! Going on the "MUST MAKE OR DIE" list that is getting WAY too long!

My long winded way to say thanks for the thread it's awesome, and great job on the quilt, it's snazzy!

Heid 04-05-2011 12:59 PM

Looks great! :)

Tartan 04-05-2011 03:11 PM

Nice top! This pattern is on my ever growing "To Do" list. At this rate, I'll have to live to at least 100! Any one else feel like they will never get their "To Do" list done?

Sue Fish 04-29-2011 03:44 AM

neat!
