Vicky- So you start with a 6 1/2 in block and how big is your little black squares

the corner squares are 2" x 2" and then sewn from corner to corner, trimmed slightly more that 1/4" and pressed towards the corner...like a snowball block?

I love it and yes Jimmy's a keeper too! Great job.

I love how you offset the blocks with the dark fabric. He will love the quilt. I made an I Spy quilt for my kindergarten classroom this summer. The kids love playing I Spy with it and the language that they have to use to do the guessing it great. I hung it up on the wall and it looks great.
