very very nice! Love your quilting too!

it looks really mussed. the linen krinkled and the quilt is heavy and cozy. it's meant fo cuddling in the couch, so the fact that it will. not. lie. flat is not so much a problem that relates to construction as it is to materials. that flannel back is thick too!

linen is a very *wrinkly* fabric no matter what you do with it...but it wears like steel- this beautiful quilt will last for many, many, many years. it turned out wonderful. your aunt is going to absolutely love it!

I think your machine quilting is well done (as opposed to well..... done) I love that motif you put in the inner border and the leaf in the cornerstones. Very nice colors and fabrics used, it appears to be nicely pieced and overall it is a very appealing swoon quilt that was made with love.
