John Deere Quilt, Children's Delight Pattern
1 Attachment(s)
Hello! I haven't posted any photos of my quilts on here, but thought it was high time I did. This was made in March 2012 for my 3 year old grandson...who is totally in love with all things John Deere. Hated using the JD fabric, which I bought from Hancock's and JoAnn's. Pattern was sooo crooked in the yardage and the fabric frayed like it was its job. But, I muddled through, and he is happy with it so that is what is most important!
(If this posting works...I will post more pictures of other quilts) |
looks good.. thanks for posting.. and i am sure he is as happy as can be...

I have a grandson that also like John deer
nice quilt |
Thanks to both of you for commenting positively. This was the first large quilt I had ever done and it was of course a labor of love. That is what I like about quilting I suppose...is thinking of the recipient lovingly through the whole process!

It's a very special quilt because he loves John Deere and his grandma made it especially for him.
