LOL - and my husband said "are you SURE about this?" before I paid at the front desk. Oh, yeah!!!

BTW - it appears that everything works as it's supposed to as I spent the day today trying it all out and trying to learn any strange quirks that she may have.

I'm still flying ..............

OMGoodness! That is definitely a reason for JOY and GLEE. The cabinet and all the thread ,plus the machine for $40? Score!!!!

I would be beside myself as well. It looks beautiful - everything and all for only $40.00. Amazing! So very happy for you.

Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth I went in and zoomed to the back of the store where the fabrics are and hit the jackpot (in the pictures) for $5.00. Hubby wandered the store and came to tell me there were a couple of sewing machines over in the corner. Naturally my buggy and I wandered over there and there was a Singer (plastic) in a cute little cabinet, a Kenmore (light green but missing it's entire top) and a closed cabinet which I, of course, opened. Imagine my surprise and absolute delight to see a Bernina (oldie but goodie). I had one of the boys plug her in and she ran beautifully and I never hesitated. $40 and a couple of drawers full of thread, notions and a bunch of attachments. No manual but I have downloaded that from the Bernina pages - it's a Bernina 930 Record (last of the electrics before they went computerized). Am I tickled - don't you know it - I must be doing something right!
