Hi Helen, here's hoping everything went well with your mother-in-laws surgery. I'm sure the love that went into making that beautiful quilt will help speed up her recovery.

Thank You for the kind words and Joyce is doing well. She is going to be moved to a rehab facaility on Monday. So the Doctors must feel she is improving.
As for the quilting, I went to my blog (listed below my post) and tried to double click the photo (3rd) one. But it did not enlarge. I did make it my screen saver and there is a much bigger picture.
If you do not want to do that, the best description is around the star (white area) and in the colored points of the stars I just moved the quilt back and forth (in the same direction for each). And around the big 4PP blocks (almost solid colors) it was basic meandering.
Sorry I do not have any other photos. But I will be posting the black one soon, so I might have closer photos.
Hope That Helps, Helen

I did not have my mid-arm at the time. I also did my extra large Queen on my demostic--it was not easy, but I did it!! Must say having the mid-arm has helped out allot.

As for the treats on the blog, I made them for guild meeting on Wednesday. Went over very well. I didn't tell people they were little pies--it was fun to watch thier surprised look. Little Pointer-watch out for the carmel kisses, they overflow while cooking (still good).
