June 2012 Free Motion Quilting Challenge-my entry

1 Attachment(s)
This is my entry for the June tutorial given by Cindy Needham. We were to do a doodle design and fill it in with machine quilting. This challenge is for conventional machines, no longarms. It was fun to do. Now I just need to finish the border and get the binding on!! :^)

That is just gorgeous.

lollygagging 07-01-2012 09:37 AM

I LOVE it. I can't believe you did this on a conventional machine. It gives me hope! Thanks for inspiring and sharing.

JENNR8R 07-01-2012 09:44 AM

That reminds me of the Zen quilting class that I took. Awesome work! :)

ann clare 07-01-2012 09:46 AM

Beautiful work.

Helen S 07-01-2012 09:51 AM

It's beautiful, and this might be a much easier way to learn how to FMQ! Will this square up ok?

WOWSERS!! That is amazing and beautiful. I love it. I give so much credit to DSM FMquilters. Your work is so meticulous and evenly spaced and everything just flows beautifully.

I could never master it so I got a LA and that I seemed born to do. I do love my LA. :p

This does look like a Zentangle design!!! But it is really just a doodle design and then filling up each space with a quilting design!!

hairquilt 07-03-2012 03:53 PM
